Dave's Pool Sales and Service, Inc. is a third generation, above ground swimming pool dealer and installer located in Windham, Maine.
Dave and his wife Joann, started Dave’s Pool in 1980. Dave, who had been working in the swimming pool department at Grossman’s, saw a demand for a reputable above ground swimming pool installation crew. He pursued this new venture working out of his home in Portland offering pool installation services.
In 1983 Dave’s Pool became incorporated and opened their first retail store on Main Street in Westbrook. For 25 years Dave and Joann worked along side one another; Dave and his installation crew installed and serviced above ground swimming pools while Joann managed the retail store where she offered free water testing and recommendations on proper swimming pool care. Together they grew their business in the swimming pool industry and brought the joy of backyard fun to hundreds of families through out Maine.

After 25 years in business, Dave began the transition of passing the business on to his granddaughter Samantha and her husband Benjamin. In 2009, they made the difficult decision to close the store in Westbrook. Together they opened a new and larger retail store in Windham, where they are located today. This new store provided a more central location for their customer base and has allowed them the necesarry space for future expansion. Over the last decade Benjamin has taken on Dave’s role in the installation side of the business while Samantha mirrors Joann’s in the store. They continue to operate the business with the same honesty and integrity that Dave bestowed to them, while bringing a fresh perspective to the industry.
